Geoff Ball is the Alberta Health Services Chair in Obesity Research and Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. His clinical and applied health research uses a number of approaches to generate, evaluate, translate, and apply new knowledge to optimize obesity prevention and management for children and families. Over the past 4 years, he's helped to lead a group of parents, clinicians, and researchers in updating the Canadian Clinical Practice Guideline for Managing Pediatric Obesity.
