  • Describe the spectrum of joint hypermobility in the paediatric population.
  • Identify patients with joint hypermobility using objective measures such as the Beighton Score.
  • Recognize associated complications and manifestations of joint hypermobility.

Connie O’Connor, NP at the Hospital for Sick Children

Constance (Connie) O’Connor is a Nurse Practitioner in the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Connective Tissue Disorders Program at SickKids in Toronto. Connie is an active member of the Ehlers-Danlos Society and is a Clinical Adjunct at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto.
