Tone Management: De-medicalization and How to Focus on Participation Instead of “Fixing”​

Dr. Nathan Rosenberg is a Paediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He is an associate professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Ohio State University. Dr. Rosenberg enjoys teaching at local, regional, national, and international levels. He is active in committees within the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine. This time of year, you might also find him outside snowboarding or trail running.

Catie Christensen, PT, DPT is an outpatient pediatric physical therapist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She is a pediatric board-certified specialist, treating physical therapist, and the Evidence-Based Practice Coordinator for her institution. She has a passion for translating evidence into clinical practice. She has presented her work at over 20 national or international conferences and has published 12 peer-reviewed manuscripts.
