The ECHO Education Event (E3) is a two-day event that will be presented as a composite of didactic and interactive teaching, focusing on core competencies in acute and chronic pain management, which includes physical, psychosocial and pharmacological strategies.
2021 ECHO Education Event
Day 1 | March 11th, 2021 | 8AM - 2PM ET
Day 1 will deliver presentations and workshops on how to explain pain, practical pain management skills and a patient/caregiver panel. Keynote speaker, Dr. Fiona Campbell, will also present on initiatives aimed to improve patient outcomes and additional tips and resources on paediatric pain management to take back to your practice.
Day 2 | March 12th, 2021 | 8AM - 2PM ET
Day 2 will require participants to apply the skills and knowledge delivered in Day 1 during the interactve simulation and case-based learning activities. Following, participants will join the rest of the Pain Management ECHO community in a session on Pain and Palliative Care by Dr. Natalie Jewitt.

The SimKids was initially accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2013 and most recently renewed in 2018. The SimKids supports over 5,400 learners and facilitates more than 20,000 learner hours each year.
